Doncaster surveyors celebrate local contract win
Doncaster Central Development Trust (DCDT) has appointed John Hill Associates Ltd as lead consultant for the next phase of its ‘green’ local housing scheme. The Trust has purchased 27 houses in the town to be renovated and updated with environmentally-friendly features. Phase one developed nine of the homes this year.

NDC Crime Reduction film
Doncaster New Deal for Communities launched a newly commissioned film on “Reducing Crime” which highlights different types of crime, and its effects on diverse communities throughout Doncaster. The film aims to increase the confidence of communities in the criminal justice system and raise awareness of the NDC funded activities that have contributed towards the reduction of crime throughout the Doncaster NDC area. The production, presented by local actor Chris Walker, highlights Doncaster NDC’s multi-agency approach, building on a joint reporting system for crime incidents which has been in operation for almost a decade.
